Welcome to SAA of Eugene, Oregon! The Eugene SAA Intergroup is an autonomous registered fellowship composed of groups of recovering sex addicts who follow the The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA.

SAA is an international fellowship of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from their sexual addiction. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop addictive sexual behavior. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. SAA is not affiliated with any other organizations, does not wish to engage in any controversy, and neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Although there is no organizational affiliation between Alcoholics Anonymous© and SAA, SAA is a spiritual program based on the steps, principles, and traditions of AA. We are grateful to AA for this gift which makes our recovery possible.

If you have questions about sexual addiction or wonder if you might have a sexual addiction, see What is Sex Addiction? There are also Personal Stories here of people that are in recovery. A good way to learn about SAA is to attend one our Local Meetings. You do not need to identify as an addict to attend. Our Friday night meeting is specifically designed with the newcomer in mind. All meetings in the area are open to anyone age 18 and older who thinks that they may have a problem with sexual addiction or are interested in finding out more about SAA. Attending your first meeting is the first step in becoming healthier sexually; don’t let fear prevent you from taking this vital step towards recovery. You may find here also other Resources for Recovery. If you are already in recovery, see local and regional Events.
